About DHHS
We are a local riding club, which offers a friendly and inviting atmosphere to grass roots competitors to learn, develop and progress. We are open to all age and abilities. We run show jumping and showing shows through out the outdoor season. The finale being our Derby Day which features up to twenty arena cross country style fences including the Dengie Dyke.

To date the club has raised £1200 for Stroke Association, Diabetes UK, Macmillan and The British Heart Foundation. This has been raised through our charity show which, is held once a year as a show jumping show.

Our members also enjoy collecting points through out the season to contribute to the end of year prize giving and presentation evening held at the end of November at the local Village hall. Trophies are awarded to those members who accumulate the most points in their class, the overall points winners from Ring One and Two and also the most improved riders from each ring. The most improved riders are carefully nominated by the committee and is awarded at the end of the presentation.

Our committee work tirelessly to host enjoyable shows which competitors can compete in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
